[This is one of those rare cases where 'in front' also means behind, okay.]

No, it's okay! You're allowed to look at me.

[Sometimes he's so unintentionally cute that it could appear utterly surreal.]

We do. [Nariko looks out the window briefly as if it might possibly tell her where they are, because:] You know, now that I've even barely mentioned I can't wait to sing again.

[Chroma might be lucky to make it out of the restaurant without being serenaded in some form.]
gunslingerqueen: (Maybe so)

No.

[He's pretty much on the dot there. The guy could outright feel up her ass and he wouldn't be in trouble - if only because she can't ever see Krieg doing that kind of thing. And if he did, then it just couldn't be as inherently perverted or gross as the usual instances.]

Just try to avoid doing it in front of anyone else or they'll really get the wrong idea.

[Said as she adjusts her arm so that when she leans on his side they can continue holding hands. He's comfy and they've done a lot of running around, and she's beginning to need the food in her system. So sue her.

So it's a real good thing that lunch goes without a hitch. It's animated, if only in part because Nariko finds a bunch of questions to ask Izzy and Chroma, and she gives the latter a healthy amount of playful teasing. The closer they get to heading back the more excited Nariko is - she's promised to sing and she's holding herself to that! Nariko all but hops out of the van when they get back into the garage.]

Just let me get what I need, I'll be right back!

[You know that saying, 'lit up like a kid at Christmas'? Nariko is so elated that she makes that proverbial kid look like a night light. She just has to get her guitar and her notebook from their trailer, first ...]

[Krieg is allowed to keep to himself! Especially since Nariko is such an animated little thing! They continue to make an incredibly odd pair together. But a good one, it seems.

Nariko isn't actually looking for Krieg, it's more like she catches the hint of his voice and wonders who he's talking to. Which is how she catches him on the phone, and parses the reason for it with minimal work. A lot of what happens next is thanks to the mix of excitement, burgeoning arousal, and her general inability to restrain herself.

She waits until he gets off of the phone:]

Hey. [Might as well skip the next step.] Is it okay if I kiss you?
gunslingerqueen: (Mm?)

[personal profile] gunslingerqueen 2016-05-20 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
I'll remember that for next time!

[Well, maybe. She can never get enough physical attention so asking has less to do with their current relationship status (whatever the fuck it may be) and more to do with the fact that she thinks he doesn't want someone constantly hanging on him or asking for affection.

But right now the light is green! She makes sure that her guitar is properly out of the way before she reaches up to hold his face in her hands and pull him right into it. The first two kisses had been tame and very safe for the public! This? Not so much. It was a full-bodied, tongue inclusive kiss, and one that she was very clearly leading.]

[Judging by the grin that ends up half lost in all this lip locking, that's not a bad start! Of course, it's also that his inexperience doesn't bother her, it's actually sort of cute. She tilts her head and does the same to his, so it's a little easier to keep herself to one side, and he can experiment with the other - such are the natural logistics of tongue kissing, but the best way to go about it is to just give it a shot. He's got a teacher who gives honest, but gentle feedback so it'll be fine!

Except! She has to reach down and move one of his hands to her ass. Then they're perfect.]

[Well, she's usually in very tall heels, which tends to mitigate the problem a bit! But sitting down isn't a bad idea either and she's too used to being the super short one to really mind. And, hey, he's sort of finding his groove a little! Krieg earns an approving little groan with the nipping. There you go, experiment! The worst she'll do is hug you a lot.

It's maybe a little easier if she stands up on her tiptoes to take some of the strain off of him. It also does a fabulous job of pushing her boobs into his chest which, frankly, is for her benefit. It's a weird little detail that's especially pleasing.]
gunslingerqueen: (But I like to keep some things to myself)

[personal profile] gunslingerqueen 2016-05-21 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
[Yep, that's definitely a game changer, and so is the ass groping because it's having a greater effect than forecasted so she forgets to delay any moaning, but it's an acceptable enough loss. She can't be perfect all the time, despite her best efforts. It's not a good idea to let this go on for too long but she does wrap her legs around his hips just enough so that they aren't dangling uselessly.

He ends up getting a break from the tongue action, though, because hers draws back and something like his name makes it between nipping and more mouthing.

.... In a far, far off world it occurs to her that Chroma really should not come looking for them. The poor woman might implode.]
gunslingerqueen: (Maybe so)

[She lets out some weird cross between a gasp and a laugh, hiding her face in his neck for just a second. Man, it's almost like they're teenagers that might get caught in some awful wrongdoing!]

Yeah.

[Her legs unwrap from him and she wiggles herself to the ground.] Sorry, I got a little out of hand, but I'll go in first and say you just needed a break!

[She straightens her clothes and gives him one last kiss on the jaw.] See you inside!

[And then she trots off to find Izzy!]

Sorry, I had to tune it!

White wine, if that's okay!

[She follows Izzy back inside, all smiles and clear excitement. Whenever Krieg decides to join them Nariko's set up wherever they're going to be settled for this whole thing - probably the couch. And for as eager as she is to get to playing she still looks around.]

Man, your guys' place is so nice!

[So fancy. So grown up.]
gunslingerqueen: (DT! Lyin' down never struck me)

[personal profile] gunslingerqueen 2016-05-28 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Sure! [Krieg why - why aren't you wearing a shirt? Well, probably because he's never seemed fond of them she guesses, but come on! Whatever, man, she'll just totally ignore the impressive set of abs in her immediate vicinity.]

Alright, so, two things here: [Excuse her she needs a sip of wine here.] I'll basically never sing this for anyone else, ever. Second: You two are going to help me since Krieg can't. His hands are too big.

[The dude probably claps and it might feel like a shout in and of itself.] Izzy, you just keep basic rhythm. [Nariko gets her started with the timing before moving onto Chroma,] You're going to be slightly off from that.

[And between the both of them she had enough to begin to sing. In her old band Nariko had always been the smoky voice that made their eclectic sound and lyrics seem feasible and inherently right. If there was any quality to her voice it was that versatility, how easily she could shift from a techno-fusion mix that one of her bandmates had composed to the vulnerable anger of what she'd written on her own.

Krieg might have wondered how her hands, small as they were, could work a guitar but she had no problem with it now, playing it seemed to take little motions of her whole body that fed into the occasional hitch of the lyrics. You don't want to know the kind of tough girl I had to be and protect your brother caused visible, almost pained hitches that had nothing to do with the fullness of her voice and how easily it filled up the room, but rather the source of the lyrics themselves. But for all of the perceived missteps, her own harsh critique, there was something utterly pure about being able to sing again, and every bit of happiness it gave her went into working her fingers over the neck of her guitar, into finishing strong, even if she might have pushed it a bit too much and been easily heard outside of Izzy and Chroma's home.

But, hey, they'd asked for a performance and she wasn't one to reign it in. When it was done she smiled, but was admittedly out of breathe.]

I need to practice a little more if I'm already winded. [Not that the alcohol helped.]
