On the top floor of a certain spire, a floating, red-tinted bubble grows a crack in it with a sharp chnk!
With the sound of glass cracking under high pressure, the fissure grows longer, until the bubble finally pops. The black diamond floats in space for a moment before a blinding light illuminates the whole room before focusing itself into a solid form, leaving a humanoid figure in its wake.
Black Diamond lands on his feet, causing the ground to quake significantly under his weight. He rolls his shoulders to loosen them up, cracking his neck to the left and right.
"Weird. Never felt that kind of resistance during a regeneration before..."
He looks around for what had caused such a disruption, but there's nothing to be found. "Eh." He shrugs and snaps his fingers; after a short glow, the black gemstone on his back materializes a jacket around himself. He crosses his arms and looks around to analyze his surroundings.
"Pretty sure this isn't the place I last saw...maybe a human found me and put me in her residence for safe keeping. Heh..."
Admittedly one of the reasons why he was looking forward to coming here--humans and the weird antics he'd heard about. He decides to poke around, delicately handling whatever he can find in this spire to glean what he can from it all. This place is already so interesting!
