[She waves in a sort of 'be back in a second' way, and takes her bag with her to his room. He'll find out the sleep clothes situation in something like ten minutes because she spends a lot of time inspecting his tank, taking mental measurements and writing some stuff down. Then, and only then, can she get dressed.

It's a classy pink pajama set with pants and a button up top that says 'Espresso Yourself'. Because that's not dorky at all. ]

[He doesn't notice how long it takes for her to come back out, given that he's focused on making their little movie treat. But when she does, he gives her a cute little smile.]

But she goes ahead and leaves the popcorn to him and finds his remote.] Oh, do you mind if I grab a blanket or something?

[He doesn't think this won't end in cuddling, right? Because even if he's not a big movie person the one benefit of movies in general is the closeness.]

Yeah! [Boxer likes blankets a lot because they help him retain moisture, so he has...a lot of them. More than he has clothes.] Make sure you grab one of the big ones. They're in the bedroom closet.

[And that's why movie-watching at home is the best, because it allows Boxer all the room a kraken needs to properly cuddle. You'd think that a theater would be sufficiently large, but no, the chairs always get in the way, and plastic arm rests aren't the most comfy thing to wrap your tentacles around when you're trying to be all cute and stuff.]

[After rifling through his closet she comes back with the biggest one she could find that might not threaten to overheat her during the whole movie watching process. At the couch she picks her spot and dumps the blanket before going over to his little side table - the one with all the nearby lotions and such for that moisture issue? She's gonna tuck one off to the side, if it seems like a good idea when they settle, she'd like to massage a tentacle or two.

... She really likes them, okay.]

Almost ready?

[The movie is starting!]

[He hoists himself onto the couch from his wheelchair, carrying a bowl of his caramel popcorn which is still in the process of properly cooling and hardening. He hasn't caught her picking out a lotion for him, so it'll be a pleasant surprise when she comes out with it.]

[When he's settled and they've got the bowl of popcorn out of the way she spreads the blanket out neatly, making doubly sure that he's well covered before she eases back into her spot. She's just next to him because it might be presumptuous to cuddle, right? Something like that.

[It's not presumptuous at all considering...that the ends of his tentacles have already begun to wrap around her ankles. Whether or not it's just an instinctual thing--to wrap around nearby objects--or genuine foreplay for cuddling, even he doesn't know.]

Just the Onion Meter! I can't stand those overly involved critics who've been doing the same thing for over twenty years! They have no mind for creativity or vision and it drives me nuts! There's this one specific reviewer - his name is Sebastian - who I totally swear by! It's like having a best friend watch everything before you!

[Yes, she missed the little hint for a second but it caught up with her like a delayed reaction. She looks a bit embarrassed at first and then relaxes.]

It's just, y'know, kind of a silly hobby, I guess.

Pretty much! I mean, if I had more time I'd watch everything that interested me, but most of the time I'm lucky if I can get to one or two a month.

[So having someone do the hard work for her saves a lot of time.]

I didn't show it to you because I thought it'd be kind of much, but I actually have somewhere around two-hundred fifty movies!

[They were underneath her entertainment center, which blessedly included cabinets. But hey, at least she's got a passion?]

No, [She's reaching down a bit to guide one of those tentacles that's taken up on her ankle up onto her lap.] I earned that title by placing first in a Jeopardy style tournament where all of the categories related back to foreign, old, and modern cinema!

[Her shoulders go up and down as she warms up the lotion between her hands.]

That I banged Alpha Sigma Phi afterward was just part of a Thursday evening.

Also, I think you'll like this movie. [And they've just gotten past the artsy opening credits and now it's really starting.]

[Damn, no sex talk? He can sense a "shut up and watch the movie" when he hears one. And he doesn't really know what this would be considered, all he knows is that he's pretty content with simply enjoying his time with her.

More of his tentacles help themselves to more of her lap, and Lukas helps himself to coiling around her hands and wrists, unaware of what she has planned for him.]

[It's a 'shut up and watch the movie' as well as a 'we should go at least one night without sex', and the latter applies even though they've obviously got a natural, nonsexual chemistry just as much as a sexual one.

To be fair the movie is very good and thoughtful, the type with a little symbolism, but easily accessible enough that the twists are all rewarding, good fun. Nariko gently coaxes Lukas into her palms and gently rubs her fingers along the length, making sure to be especially delicate between the suckers. She even makes it a point to rub the outer rims of them. And because they're so massive it seems better to take them section by section, starting from tip and working back towards his body.

Hopefully she'll have gotten to every single one before the end of the movie.]

[He's not keeping count, too engrossed by the movie to give it any mind other than the fact that they all feel really, really good when they're finished with the movie and she's done massaging them. Boxer lets out a content sigh, only now realizing that Nariko is quite literally buried in tentacles.]

Oh, I--sorry about that...

[She looks...awfully comfortable, though...]

[It really is a great flick, and she's got a lot of feelings about it!! None so great that she doesn't notice her own absorption by tentacle. It really doesn't bother her much, just makes it harder to keep track of which she's already touched and which ones still need a little loving.]

Oh, no! [She tries to wave a hand to show him it's nothing.]

Wasn't it cool how it was her dad all along?! I mean, I sort of saw it coming but that was one hell of a left turn! I didn't even notice at first!

I thought that it was going to be that...but I kept dismissing it because of the plot hole.

The way they write the characters--she would have had to been born even before her mom met her dad.
