[She mutters a quiet "thank goodness", and lets herself smile again. She can stay, there's some good in the world! Sandwiches and beer for everyone! She rockets a little wildly between relief and a flustered sort of embarrassment at that smile of his because wow it looks good on his face. His everything actually looks pretty good, if she's going for full honesty. She laughs a little dumbly, that short and sweet kind usually reserved for 'I'm laughing at your joke because even if it's not funny I want you to kiss me'. That kind of thing.]
I'm going to level with you. [To prove her oncoming point she finished out her bottle and returns it to the bag. She's not going to litter, but she quickly gets a hold of another.]
I just want to get incredibly drunk and this is a pretty good way to do it, seemed a little bit safer than hanging out in a bar until two in the morning. It's been a hell of a week and I don't want another disaster.
[She grins over at him, though, because there's no need to let the mood sour.] You don't have to apologize, handsome, ask whatever you like, I'm an open book.
