consentacle fun, etc.

The following prompts can be BYOM (bring your own monster) if you so desire! Anything goes. Literally anything.

"Monsters" are common around here. They always have been. While many societies choose to revere them as gods or use them to instill fear into ill-behaved children, the monsters of New Cloudbank are one with the people and have been able to hold jobs, own property and self, and vote; freedoms gained from a civil movement some decades ago. While societal integration has gone somewhat smoothly, there is some resistance held by conservative individuals that look down on monster-human relations and hold the untrue belief that some of the less humanshape monsters are a threat to people.

Boxer is an example of one such creature. His upper body is proportionally larger than any human; that if he stood on human legs he would easily reach thirteen feet tall, cut like someone who exercises on a needlessly regular schedule. However, he does not stand on human legs at all, but rather a numerous set of tentacles, rich cocoa-brown like the rest of his skin, decorated with stark yellow stripes at their base and a line of dots along their topsides, lined with dark golden suction cups on the opposite side, and delicate membranes between them. His yellow accents, including his eyes, glow under dark enough conditions to see them.

He's never harmed a human in his life, much rather the opposite if anything, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a reputation for it...

Errands.

A monster's gotta eat.

Of course, he doesn't have to drop by for meat, as the only thing he puts on his table are things he caught with his own hands swimming in the depths outside of the bay. But frying fish in its own juices does not a meal plan make, so regular supermarket trips are the solution to well-rounded meals.

But he can't quite get around like everyone else, on account of boneless tentacles being designed more for underwater agility than, well, walking. So he has to opt for a wheelchair, one custom-built to accommodate his bulk and allows him to comfortably use his extra appendages for his wheel-based mobility while keeping his hands free.

Although being just shy of wheelchair-bound on land, he's at less disadvantage than one might think, using his long tentacles to snatch things off of the topmost shelf with length to spare. Otherwise, he tries to keep them hidden under a soft, knitted blanket, for the comfort of strangers, who tend to stare anyway. (Oh well.) He likes to joke that it's not his form, but the fact that he chooses to dress somewhat formally even for his mundane outings, even though he knows that's not the case.

Maybe you're the one struggling to reach that favorite item of yours so conveniently stashed just beyond finger's grasp on the top shelf.

"Here. I'll get that for you," he says, with an easy smile.

Bet you weren't prepared for a tentacle to hand you something when you went out today.

Shore.

This quiet little section of the beach is usually deserted, rumored to be the place where feral monsters hunt for humans. Now this, this is a rumor that is entirely Boxer's fault, purposely spread to his few visitors so he could have this little piece of heaven all to himself.

Maybe you're a regular here. Maybe you're a brave new first-time visitor, hopefully to catch sight of the man-eating monster for yourself. Either way, the sight is hardly as intimidating as the legend: he's sprawled out naked on the warm sand, basking in the sunlight that beats against his bare, chiseled back as he naps.

Scary.

Water.

New Cloudbank is a large city-state with bustling seaside commerce, full of fishery companies, international trade, and tourism. A water-dweller like Boxer is almost never without work, since many companies are chomping at the bit to commission an strong, amphibious monster to survey the deep for the next best catch, keeping the water safe, or mounting rescues for wayward tourists.

He loves what he does for a living.

Maybe you, too, are of similar business, using your nonhuman physiology to your advantage in the outer bay waters, catching Boxer in the middle of what he does best. Or maybe you're simply a patron of these companies--for Boxer, as brazen as he is to get a free drink, will gladly suction-cup climb his way into boats and schmooze with locals and tourists alike.

Wildcard!

Anyone that requires substance to live needed to get it somehow. Even if it meant going out in public when others might find you terrifying. Poe had been at the market picking up a few items that was needed for meals. Things that he would normally forget to pick up day to day that were needed for making certain other things. Bread crumbs were needed for baking purposes.

The grocery store seemed less busy today making it easy for him to maneuver around. Poe made sure to check everything off from his list, not wanting to miss a single item from it. Next came the last item and it shouldn't have been that tricky to get.

When he came upon the aisle and saw the location that it was at. Poe knew that it was just out of his reach even if he were to go on the tips of his toes. The man glanced around him first before trying to go for the item anyway.

There's a sudden heat rising to from his neck to his cheeks as he hears the voice of another man next to him. Poe looks at the tentacle in slight surprise as he takes a step back in order to take the item from him. A smile spreads on his lips as he gives a small nod to the man.

"Thank you. You didn't have to do that though."

Especially if the other was trying to hide for obvious reasons. Poe wasn't about to shout out about the appearance. He would treat anyone with respect until they prove other intent.

As someone in politics, she's always interested about different cities and lands, what they have. They say this place has a lot of "monsters".

That didn't matter to her. What she was more interested in is whether this city was willing to trade. And then after meetings, she will be able to go tour this city in her own time.

That very moment where Sen was in a boat was her "own time". Preferably, she would've liked to row around herself, but seeing as she knows nothing about the water other than "There might be monsters in it", she opted to travel around on a simple ferry that did the rounds. Normally, she's quite shy, so she hasn't really spoken up or tried to talk to any of the locals on the boat.

Until she saw the half-human tentacled creature climb up the side of the boat. It didn't matter how the others reacted, she was staring. She really couldn't help herself, and she knew she shouldn't.

[There's suddenly a whole portion of his body over her own and mostly she can't help noticing how much weight there is to his tentacles. For some reason she thought they'd be kind of light - sort of like Peeps. That's probably a strange thing to compare someone's anatomy to but, hey, they seem about as mildly squishy as them too so there's a tiny bit of logic involved.]

Sure. Although, what were you going to do if I hadn't shown up?

[Would he have just baked in the sun? Or would getting back in the water be enough to help him out? Either way she settles underneath him and once she's comfortable Nariko pops the top and slathers a bunch on her hands.

Since there's no telling how sensitive these things are - and it feels kind of silly to ask, like she should know already - she's very gentle about the whole thing, far from shy. She focuses on spreading it all on evenly and then gently trying to work it in.]
Tell me if I'm messing up or something.

[He's probably at least five times her size and she's worried about hurting him. Go figure.]

That's not very feral behaviour at all. Or at least, not the feral behaviour others insist on telling her about and it's obvious she isn't even slightly worried as she crouches down beside him.

Her tone is friendly and cheerful, her chin resting on her arms as she smiles,

"Yes. I was told that there are attacks on this beach and yet there are no records or reports of such and I wished to know if you have heard anything about them. And if you did, I would be very much obliged if you would tell me."

And then, almost as an afterthought: "-Please."

Well, there goes that option to snoop into his private life. Or gather blackmail material. Or both. Not that she would blackmail him, but it never hurt to keep an ace up her sleeve. Even if she would use it. It didn't matter that it didn't make sense, it was reassuring to her even so.

She eyes the food as it arrives, but only briefly before he responds. "Of course. You are welcome to come at your convenience."

She'd rather he come sooner, predictably, but she makes no indication of that. "And accommodations can be made for anything that is not to your needs." She pauses, suddenly looking rather surprised. She's gone and done probably one of the dumbest thing she's ever done. She got so transfixed by him and her need to collect him that she'd forgotten a crucial detail.

"I believe I have never asked your name." She laughs softly. "Consider that a shining endorsement for your looks."

I aim to please, especially when I get to share a secret.

[That and this is actually a lot of fun, in no small part to how his appendages react. And that is him controlling them, right? It wouldn't make any sense if they just operated on their own, she grins a bit at being wrapped up and the pull of the suckers is definitely new, but she makes no attempt to get them off. In fact, now that she's beyond the first few cautious seconds her touch is a surer, a little firmer, so she does ultimately figure out that they're not quite as squishy as she imagined.]

So, what, did you come for a visit and fall unconscious? [She throws him a teasing grin while she grabs the bottle and spreads it quite generously over previously unattended for tentacles. She's trying to make them all equally shiny and well taken care of, which includes between the cups, and very carefully along all that membrane so he's thoroughly taken care of.]
gunslingerqueen: (Love Letter)

[It doesn't need to be erotic to be satisfying, there is a genuine pleasure in getting the reaction at all, knowing that it was helping as much as he'd mentioned earlier. Now that she's a little more aware of the parts that need attention she smooths more oil all along, getting up near the base of the little suction cups, because that seems like some weird equivalent to the backs of knees - an easily forgotten part.]

You're shitting me. [He's - Okay, obviously he is an aquatic being so, yeah, dude's gonna be faster than Sonic going after some gold rings but that still seems a little nuts to her.] No wonder you were so tired, and you probably overworked these poor little guys, too!

[... His tentacles are not little but sue her, she's kind of fond of them now.] Is that your job, though?

[To her it sounds like he does it just because, and one can almost hear the assumption in her voice, that it's not money, perhaps, but genuine concern for the city.]

"I was curious and wished to know."

One of the only reasons why she ever did anything, really.

"And if you are the feral monster attacking people and leaving the sea red with blood then why has no one written a report? Surely if you are so prolific, there must be more evidence than hearsay. I can not find a single person who directly knows of anyone that has been attacked and I consider my search to have been very thorough."

She won't outright accuse him of being a liar, but she's always believed that if something is true then it will stand up to any manner of questioning. She brushes her hair back from her face quietly as she wonders what else she's missed about this situation. As she does, she lets her eyes stray to the long tentacles, the soft contrast of gold and brown.

'How beautiful.'

[He's far from that, right now she's too impressed with him to think he's anything like a blue rodent without a life, okay. And now that they're apparently finished with the tentacle massage excursion she lets her arms rest sort of aimlessly. If that means they're kind of all slithered up on then that's fine so long as she's not being pulled one way or the other.]

No problem, I'm completely for this massage excha - [She doesn't make it all the way through the thought because then he goes and does that, and it's so ... Cute.]

Thanks for keeping everyone safe.

[Because apparently they need a reason to kiss, or something? But when Nariko tilts just so it's no corner affair, it's full on, lips to lips, though she's got enough sense to keep it simple. An extended press, a little eager, but she pulls away, grinning kind of shyly, with a little hint of excitement.

So an incredibly positive reaction, one would say.]

It's only natural to want to snoop into the life of someone you intend to keep forever isn't it?

"One pool already is, and the rest can be drained and filled again without chemicals in under a week." She counters, intending on having him sooner rather than later. But she knows it sounds like she's rushing it, so she clarifies. "So you have more flexibility for when you move in."

Also wow, she's not crazy at all. It's not her problem that he and others don't understand the peculiarities and specifics of dragon behavior. But then again, he has no idea what she is yet. He'll learn soon enough, and then it will be too late to do anything about it.

But hopefully he won't want to do anything about it.

"That's a dangerous offer." She grins, honestly a little possessively and she doesn't care to hide it. She's tempted to say she'll just call him "Mine" but it might be too soon. Instead, she hums for a few moments before finally answering. "I think I'll just call you boy. I'm sure you'll be creative enough to give me a better name, or convince me to call you something better."

Childish name for a childish response, maybe she'll call him "man" after he proves it... In certain ways. She puts the thought aside before it gets too far.

"That's up to you to prove, isn't it?" She smiles, pleased that she's at least earned a proper response instead of further sarcasm. "I picked the best of the boys to prove himself a man."

She wasn't wrong, though she wasn't going to say she viewed him as much more than a boy already. She wasn't without imagination, after all, and a man of his figure and with his attributes was... not something to be ignored.

Hopefully they'll both be able to retire to the same place to get to know each other better. In fact... Yeah no, she's going to inquire. "Do you have any plans after we finish here?"

Prompted by that tilt of his head, she leans until she can see the sign, fingers splayed in the sand.

"-So it is restricted. I see. My apologies, then, I was not aware it was."

That would explain the lack of paperwork, at least. She settles back on her slim legs, resting her chin on her knees, still watching him with her calm eyes. She can't help but to like the fact that he is actually answering each of her questions instead of brushing her off as a lot of people tended to do.

"Not my first-hand account, if you do mean to pull me into the sea. Although I do question why you are waiting so long if you do mean to. Are you simply not hungry? Or are you waiting for me to leave of my own accord? Or perhaps it is too warm for you today? Is it not too dry for you out of water?"

It's just one question after another with her.
